ABOUT PAINTED LADY PROJECTS

Painted Lady Projects was founded by husband-and-wife team, Eileen and Bennett Johnston, who discovered a passion for interior design and home renovation after restoring their own historic home in 2019. What began as a love for remodeling their Victorian house evolved into a growing business dedicated to helping others find joy in their homes. From friends to friends-of-friends, the requests for design help and hands-on experience burgeoned into a full-time business - and Painted Lady Projects was born!

Today, our team includes designers with a strong appreciation for the small details, skilled in imagining personalized spaces and bringing them to fruition - ensuring that the end result truly feels like home, tailored specifically to you. Staying true to our do-it-yourself ethos, we often personally install wallpaper and specialty paint in our clients' homes. The design team is complemented by our general contracting and construction management arm, guiding clients through the renovation process and problem-solving along the way. Together, they comprise a service-based business that is approachable, collaborative, and transparent.
